We are three siblings who started a campaign about ten years ago called No Butts About It to help rid the earth of cigarette butt litter. We think that smokers should be responsible for their butts and throw them out in disposable ashtrays or somewhere appropriate instead of tossing them out car windows or on the ground. We have created an awareness poster with important facts that highlight the need for a change of habit. At this point, there are organizations or individuals in 48 States and several countries involved in the campaign. We have gotten many beaches and parks to hand out the posters at their entrances, and it has greatly reduced the amount of cigarette litter. There are also a lot of colleges, businesses, welcome centers, and a variety of places that have put the ashtrays and posters around to make smokers aware of the problem and to provide an easy solution.


Please sign our petition to support requiring cigarette manufacturers to print "Please Dispose of Butts Properly" on every package of cigarettes to spread awareness of and end littered cigarettes.
